Local weather

Scottish weather is renowned for its unpredictability. So check it out before you come - This page gives links to the best weather forecasts. Perthshire lies on the eastern seaboard, so can often be relatively sheltered from the winter storms.

Spring and summer are the best times to enjoy Perthshire's activities and recreation on offer. The winter months (October to February) are short with dusk at 4pm. But you can get some cracking crystal clear blue days especially when a big high camps over the north. We rarely get heavy snow, except on the mountains. Autumn, approximately the second week of September can showcase the very best of Perthshire's scenery.
